Bali beach clubs: the short answer

The best-known beach clubs in Bali are in three areas. In Canggu, FINNS and Atlas sit side by side on Berawa Beach and La Brisa is at Echo Beach. In Seminyak, Potato Head and KU DE TA face the sunset. On the Bukit Peninsula around Uluwatu, Single Fin, El Kabron, Savaya and Sundays sit on or below the cliffs.

Pick by mood: a big party, a relaxed sunset, a family beach day or a night with international DJs. And if you want the pool and the sunset without the crowds, Umalas Lounge, the rooftop day club of The Umalas Signature, is a short ride inland from the Canggu beaches.

Canggu beach clubs: FINNS, Atlas and La Brisa

FINNS Beach Club is a bamboo-built complex on Berawa Beach with several party zones. Entry is free, and beds are booked separately: its lowest published bed, the Party Bed, costs IDR 1,500,000 and is recommended for six people. FINNS says it is adults only, with a smart-casual dress code.

Atlas Beach Club, next door on Jalan Pantai Berawa, sells a day pass for IDR 300,000 that includes a welcome drink, pool access, a towel and the show. It is strictly 16+, with alcohol served from 21. La Brisa, at Echo Beach, is built from the timber of old fishing boats and is kid-friendly, with a shallow pool. It has no entrance fee, tables carry a minimum spend from IDR 700,000++, and there is no minimum spend before 4pm from Monday to Friday.

Seminyak beach clubs: Potato Head and KU DE TA

Potato Head Beach Club, on Jalan Petitenget, is the beach club of Desa Potato Head, built by architect Andra Matin from thousands of reclaimed timber shutters, with daily DJ sets. It is free to enter except between 4pm and 6:30pm, when a cover charge of IDR 200,000 applies, redeemable for selected drinks. It is family-friendly, pets are welcome and there is no dress code.

KU DE TA, on Seminyak Beach at the end of Jalan Kayu Aya, opens from breakfast and calls itself the original beach club in Bali. It welcomes children, with a kids’ pool 95 cm deep. Nearby in Batu Belig, Mari Beach Club has a pool and swim-up bar, with sunset daybeds from IDR 1,550,000 for up to two people.

Uluwatu beach clubs: cliffs and big sunsets

Single Fin sits on the cliff above Suluban Beach and describes itself as a cliffside beach bar, with tables and booths booked online. El Kabron, also on the Uluwatu cliffs, applies a minimum spend to every guest, and its pool, dance floor and Sunset Theater are adults only.

Savaya is a clifftop club about 100 metres above the ocean, run as a club night with international DJs, with tickets sold through Megatix and a strict 21+ rule. Sundays Beach Club in Ungasan is on the sand below the cliffs, reached by an inclinator lift or 270 steps, with a lagoon for kayaks and paddle boards. Its daily beach pass costs IDR 800,000 for adults, including IDR 500,000 of food and drink credit.

How beach club entry and minimum spends work

Bali beach clubs use three models. Some are free to enter, with beds and tables sold separately. Some sell a day pass that includes a drink or credit. Many charge a minimum spend on beds, sofas and tables, which you use on food and drinks.

Prices marked “++” exclude service and tax: La Brisa, for example, adds an 8% service charge and 10% government tax to its minimum spends. Prices change, so check each club’s own website before you go. The figures above were published by the clubs and compared by Bali Frontier on 18 September 2026.

Umalas Lounge: the quieter rooftop alternative

Umalas Lounge is the rooftop day club on the roof of The Umalas Signature at Jalan Bumbak No. 156, in Umalas, about five minutes inland from the Canggu beaches. Instead of crowds on the sand, you get a pool with 360° views over the rice fields, a bar, an international kitchen and a premium shisha selection for the evening.

The pool and bar open daily from 07:00, breakfast starts at 08:00, and a DJ plays daily sets at golden hour as the sun drops over the rice fields. For guests of The Umalas Signature, the rooftop pool is part of the clubhouse that comes with the key. Lounge and daybed seating carries a minimum spend, and tables are booked directly with the lounge.

Tips for a day at a Bali beach club

Book a bed or table ahead for sunset, the busiest time everywhere. Check the age rules and dress code before you go, especially with teenagers. Arrive early at clubs with no minimum spend before 4pm, and plan your ride home: ride-hailing apps work well, but sunset traffic is slow, so staying close by makes the evening easier.
